19th November 2017
Today, November 19: Collection Sunday for Bibles for the Persecuted . If you use our direct banking facilities, please make it clear that it is a donation for ‘ Bibles .’
SS Parents & Teachers: Today, after church at 11:45am, there will be a special meeting to talk about the Learning & Growing Pathway concept. The plan is to have a more organised and deliberate ministry agenda for the young people of our church.
Donnybrook Plans: There is a handout which outlines plans for a church plant in Donnybrook and the way EPC can be involved in that initiative. If you didn’t get one last week, please pick one up from the table.
Next Sunday, November 26: Village2Village donations will be collected to help young people from Kanini’s village back home in Kenya go to a 5 day Christian Camp. This has been a tremendous blessing to those young people in the past and it is our way to help them grow strong in faith and in the knowledge of God’s Word.
Pastoral Care Team: Voting to elect people to the role of Pastoral Carer will be held today and next Sunday. This is the first time we have asked the congregation to vote for Pastoral Carers to assist the elders. You may list up to 6 people on the voting slip then place the slip into an envelope and sign the outside of the envelope after you have sealed it. If you didn’t get to read the document handed out two Sundays ago, copies are available. Please read through that document before you place your vote.
Board Elections: Nominations for vacant Board of Management positions will be called for in the first two weeks of December . More details will be available later.
Roster: There is a vacancy on the cleaning roster for next weekend. Please see Melody if you can help.
