Biblical Counselling Australia
Coming up in September, Biblical Counselling Australia has invited Darby Strickland to speak on the topic, 'When It's Trauma: Understanding and Walking Faithfully with Sufferers', an event for both men and women on Saturday 5th September -Melbourne CBD. 9am-4pm.
"Every Sunday, Men and Women scarred by crises and betrayals worship among us. Our Lord not only calls us to help them but equips us to do so. Out of her careful study of Scripture and years of counselling experience, Darby Strickland has written a comprehensive resource to help counselors, church leaders, and laypeople understand the unique wounds of trauma-and then to come alongside sufferers with effective, thoughtful care that shows the love of Christ."
Join us for a full day with four talks from Darby on the topic of trauma, both in understanding the experience and effects of trauma but also how to walk faithfully with sufferers in providing biblical care.
A group from EPC will be attending and Session has approved for the conference costs be covered by our Training Budget. We have a couple group spots left so please get in contact soon!
