Bibles for the Persecuted: We raised $972.60 last week.

Today: Village2Village donations will be collected to help young people from Kanini’s village back home in Kenya go to a 5 day Christian Camp. This has been a tremendous blessing to those young people in the past and it is our way to help them grow strong in faith and in the knowledge of God’s Word.

Pastoral Care Team: Voting to elect people to the role of Pastoral Carer will be held today. This is the first time we have asked the congregation to vote for Pastoral Carers to assist the elders. You may list up to 6 people on the voting slip then place the slip into an envelope and sign the outside of the envelope after you have sealed it. If you didn’t get to read the document handed out two Sundays ago, copies are available. Please read through that document before you place your vote.

Board Elections: Nominations for vacant Board of Management positions will be called for in the first two weeks of December . More details will be available later.

Mainly Music:

  1. We’d love to hear from you if you are interested in helping out with this ministry in 2018.  We also still have a few of our Christmas gift books available – if you are willing to purchase one ($5) to donate to one of our mainly music families, please speak to a team member today.  Thank you!
  2. Many thanks from Helen Cameron and the mm team, to all those who were able to provide such scrumptious morning teas to the mainly music families and mm Team each week during 2017. As the old saying goes: “ many hands make light work”. For 2018, we are looking for a few new additional helpers to provide the morning tea goodies for the adults at mainly music (approx. 20-25). With our roster system, you would most likely only be required once each school term.

If you are able to continue to assist or if you are contemplating assisting please speak to Helen or email her at helen.cameron@me .com.

EP Youth: 4pm today (26 th ) in the church. Please see Rachael or Matt to let them know you’ll be there for the final youth group for 2017!

Open Table: Our final Open table for this year will be held tonight at 5:30 pm.

Indoor Carols – Sausage Sizzle Team – Saturday December 16:  Sausage sizzle at 5:00pm before the carols at 6:30pm. We’d like some assistance with setup beforehand, along with preparing, cooking and serving food. If you can help, please speak to Ian Courts.

Christmas Cards for sale: The craft Group ladies have made beautiful cross-stitch Christmas cards for sale. Cost of each card is $4. Proceeds will go to missions. See the display in the hall.

Parking Changes: Council has created ‘no standing’ zones on our side of the street . Please be aware of this change.
