5th November 2017
Bibles for the Persecuted: We officially started our 21 days of Prayer on October 30. Collection Sunday is November 19. The prayer diaries and ‘Bible boxes’ are still available to take home today. The basic idea is to put aside $2 every day for the purchase of Bible. Christians under persecution say that Bibles are the thing they need and want above all else.
Parking Changes: The council has announced that it will be creating a ‘no standing’ zone on our side of the street running from the driveway at 25 Batman Road and down the hill a little bit. So be aware that this change is coming.
Servanthood Roster: The next roster period is coming up very quickly. Please let Melody know of your availability for the months of December, January, February. This is traditionally a difficult roster to fill because of the holidays, so if you are available, please consider putting your name forward. Extra help is needed for doing the Offering, Cleaning, Morning Tea and Crèche.
Mission Support Group: We will meet on Thursday evening, 9 th November at 7:30, at Jenni Ambridge’s home. If you’d like to find out more about our missionaries and what the Support Group is doing, please come along. Any queries, please see Katherine Vayne or Jenni Ambridge.
