Kingdom Prayer
Following on from a recent sermon in Acts where we read about the disciples prayer for boldness it has been decided to recommence Kingdom Prayer gatherings. Due to Don being on Long Service Leave in October the next best available date is November the 15th. We are planning to set it for 4:00pm that day and will include starting a video series on prayer which we will continue to run each time we have a Kingdom Prayer gathering.
Working Bee – Saturday 14 November
One of the great blessings of church life is the opportunity to serve alongside one another. As we care for the people of God, we also have the privilege of caring for the place where we gather to worship, fellowship, and share in ministry together.
Our next Working Bee will be held at 9:00 am on Saturday 14 November, and we warmly invite anyone who is able to join us as we tackle a number of necessary maintenance tasks around the church property. Whether you can spare half an hour or stay for longer, every contribution will be greatly appreciated.
There will be a variety of jobs available, with tasks suitable for all levels of ability, a list of which can be found in our newsletter.
We are also looking for volunteers to help by providing morning tea. If this is a way you would like to contribute, we would love to hear from you.
For more information, please speak with Andrea.
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” (Colossians 3:23)
Christmas is Coming
We thought it’d be great to get this Christmas season off to a fun, relaxed and productive start, where we can reflect on the meaning of Christmas and plan for the upcoming weeks, before things get too hectic.
On Saturday the 28th of November, join us in the hall anytime between 10:00 and 3:00, with lunch at 12:30. Bring along anything you’d like to work on for Christmas, such as making lists, writing cards, working on craft projects, etc. We’ll also put up decorations and would welcome anyone who’d like to help.
Bec has some resources to help us celebrate Jesus through Advent, so she'll bring some to make and share too.
Contact Bec, Anne or Andrea for more info.
