Sunday School
Thank you to those who have volunteered to be teachers and helpers. We now have 2 teachers per group and 3 for some classes. 3 is always better so that each teacher doesn’t have to be unduly absent from hearing Sunday sermons.
Book Stall
Please make use of the book stall. It has a focus on family devotional material with many excellent options. Check under Resources on our web page for links to reviews as well as articles on the long term positive impact family devotions have on the life of your children.
DDT
Today we start our first Deeper Discipleship training for 2019: Personal Bible Reading, 3:30pm today and next week. Today will focus on how to get more out of your personal reading and next week will focus on different ways to go about family devotions.
Growth Groups
Regular evening groups start tomorrow and the Ladies Bible Study Group starts on Friday. Young Adults have moved to Wednesday evening.
4 Level Events
In terms of events to invite people to we are developing a chart with 4 Levels of different types of events. We want all out ministry groups to see how they fit into this structure and how we can develop a series of yearly events which act as stepping stones for those thinking about Jesus and the meaning of life.
For the Love of God
This 4 part documentary on how the church is better and worse than you imagined is to be seen as a Level 2 event. It will be a casual, non-threatening event to invite a non-churched person to. Flyers are now available for you to pick up. Pray about who you could invite and show them where they can see a trailer as an introduction to what they can expect from the series.
Open Table
This year Open Table is moving to Sunday lunch! Our first one will be Feb 24 . It is a great way for us to socialise and spend time together. Put it in your diaries and plan to stay after church and join in. More details next week.

Bookstall – Family Devotions
You’ll find this in the hall over the next few Sundays. Resources include:
– Bibles
, including Children’s Story Bibles
to read as a family with young children;
– Family Devotional books
(most of these have a focus on reading and discussing the actual
Bible; suitable for a range of age groups);
– Personal Devotional books
for different age groups, from 6-7 year olds upwards, to encourage good habits, growing in Christ through reading God’s Word
Tech Training
SUNDAY 17th Feb 7:30pm. Please speak to Andy about attending this – we’ll cover how to use the mixing desk & the computer software used for our corporate worship times. If you would like help with our ‘tech team’, this is a great opportunity to find out more.
Craft Group
Craft Group would like to thank all those who bought their handmade Christmas cards last year. Sale profits of $220 were donated to Tear Australia for their support on Community Health, Community School Classes and Women’s Community Group.

Youth Group
EPC Youth currently join in with the Bundoora Presbyterian Church Youth Group on Friday nights. In the future we plan to set up our own program but until then we will benefit from their excellent resources. The first term program is available for you to pick up . It would be good for families with year 7-12 children to connect with each other and share driving. Please talk to Don or Andy to get help with this or if you have any questions. Next Friday , Feb 15 is a “Bundy Bonanza”. 7:30 to 9:30pm.
