Activity Sheets  

As there is no Sunday School until the new term starts there are Activity Sheets available for SS aged children which are based on the theme from the main message for the day.

Preaching for 2019  

From Jan 27 to March 31, messages will be from Acts 16 to 21. In April we turn to Isaiah 51 to 54. May and June are yet to be finalised. Each Sunday’s text will be incorporated into our 100 Day Reading Challenge to help you get a head start on the message for that coming week.

Opportunities 2019

Recently we handed out the Ministry Opportunities forms for 2019. It takes a church wide team of people to make EPC an active, healthy congregation. We would love you to start thinking about your contribution and participation in the life and ministry of this church and using your time and gifts to serve Jesus in this way. If you didn’t get handout please pick one up in the foyer. Response forms can be placed in the Connect Box on the small table.

New Servanthood Roster

It’s time to start thinking of when and how you might be part of the rostered serving teams at EPC. The new roster will cover the months of February and March. Please contact Melody at melody.telley@gmail.com as soon as possible with dates to exclude. Extra helpers are ALWAYS welcome, especially for creche, so please join the teams and help share the load. For more details, please speak to Melody.

We recently handed out the Neighbour To Neighbour leaflet,  Getting Started. If you didn’t get a copy then copies are available in the foyer. One fundamental aspect of being a follower of Jesus is that we are very deliberate in developing Gospel shaped relationships with non-churched people. As we want this to be part of the DNA of every member of EPC we would like each person to have a copy of  Getting Started  and putting it into practice. If we are all deliberate about forming meaningful relationships and taking them to the next level we will go a long way towards fulling our vision of  Spreading Hope ThroughJesus to Eltham and Beyond. A growing church starts with you and me.

100 Day+ Bible Challenge

Early next year we will start a reading challenge that selects 100 passages to give us a quick overview of the Bible.

Update re PresAID appealon Christmas Day

$1,007.45 was donated to this appeal, which will go towards funding translation work for the church in Timor Leste and a fresh-water bore and hand pump for the village of Saweted in Ethiopia. Thank you on their behalf.
