Christmas Offering:  

Each year we have a Special Christmas day offering for PresAID. This year the goal is to help fund translation work for the church in Timor Leste and a fresh water bore and hand pump for the village of Saweted in Ethiopia. It is a combination of spiritual and practical. To find out more about PresAID go to  presaid.org.au.

Grievance Procedure:  

Every organisation should be clear about how to deal with a grievance within its system. Session has approved a set of procedures based on Biblical teachings and the Rule Books of the PCA. It has been placed on our web site for easy access. Grievance Procedure . Jesus spoke on these matters because, even as his people we are just sinners under divine renovation and we need to deal with our faults in a godly way.

Pray: 

With the Christmas Service coming up on Tuesday, pray that people who received invitations at the Festival, people who see our street signs and those we personally invite will come. Pray that for many it might be an important part of their spiritual journey and that we will honour Jesus at Christmas as we seek to  Spread Hope Through Jesus to Eltham and beyond.

100 Day+ Bible Challenge:

Early next year we will start a reading challenge that selects 100 passages to give us a quick overview of the Bible. Also, every week we will include the passage for the next Sunday’s sermon from the Book of Acts.

Opportunities 2019:   Recently we handed out the Ministry Opportunities forms for 2019. It takes a church wide team of people to make EPC an active, healthy congregation. We would love you to start thinking about your contribution and participation in the life and ministry of this church and using your time and gifts to serve Jesus in this way. If you didn’t get handout last week please pick one up in the foyer.Response forms can be placed in the Connect Box on the small table.

We recently handed out the Neighbour To Neighbour leaflet,  Getting Started. If you didn’t get a copy then copies are available in the foyer. One fundamental aspect of being a follower of Jesus is that we are very deliberate in developing Gospel shaped relationships with non-churched people. As we want this to be part of the DNA of every member of EPC we would like each person to have a copy of  Getting Started  and putting it into practice.If we are all deliberate about forming meaningful relationships and taking them to the next level we will go a long way towards fulling our vision of  Spreading Hope Through Jesus to Eltham and Beyond. A growing church starts with you and me.
