Discipleship Explored: This Deeper Discipleship Training course continues this evening October 21, and next Sunday evening, 28 at 7:30pm. Please note the final session will be after Open Table so you’re invited to come along for dinner beforehand, at 5:30pm.

Youth Group : Games Night Friday October 26 at Bundoora PC. 7:30 to 9:30 pm.

Christmas Shoebox Appeal : Thank you to all who packed boxes and or donated postage money for the shoeboxes Appeal. The boxes this year are being sent to the Philippines. We collected 55 shoeboxes and an extra $150 was donated for postage. Thank you also to those who helped put the shoeboxes in our car. All were delivered on Monday morning. Maxine and Jim Fowler 

Art Exhibition : John Wakefield’s retrospective art exhibition is on until Monday October 29 at the Victorian Artists Society Gallery, 430 Albert Street East Melbourne. (Opposite St Patricks Cathedral) Open 10-4 weekdays, 1-4 weekends.

Induction:  The presbytery has set Andy’s induction into the parish for Friday November 16 at 7:30pm. This follows the congregation’s signing of the call to him and it will change his status from assistant minister to Don Elliott to an associate minister of the parish. 

Craft Group Christmas Cards : Christmas is coming up and Craft Group, as their annual project, has made Christmas cards for sale. All profits will go to a mission project. $3.50 each or $10 for 3. See display in hall.

Bibles for the Persecuted:  Once again we are participating in the 21 Days of Prayer for persecuted Christians around the world. Collection Sunday for donations to provides Bibles for these persecuted Christians will be October 28 . Prayer diaries and collection boxes are still available.

Eltham Festival Outreach – SIGN UP TODAY : Come and get involved this year at the EPC tent, under the banner “Think Life Think Jesus.” A sign-up sheet is available in the foyer, and we need to work together on this! We need people at the stall throughout the day, willing to hand out material and to ‘be ready to give an answer for the hope you have in Jesus.’ Other requirements include a set up and a pack up team, face-painters and gospel bracelet makers, people to be available for Psalm reading and prayer. Please pray for this outreach coming up on 11th November.

Working Bee: The Board of Management will be organising a Working Bee on Saturday November 17. More details will follow, but please put this date in your diaries.
