Congregational Meeting:  After morning tea today at about 11:50am there will be a congregational meeting to deal with filling the newly created vacancy for an associate minister. Rev John Wilson has been appointed by Presbytery to lead the congregation through this process.

Youth Group:  The last YG event for the term is today at 4pm. In Term 3 we will join with the Bundoora PC Youth Group on Friday nights and enjoy their well organized program and greater numbers of teenagers.

Discipleship Explored: Tonight is the first session of the Discipleship Explored DVD based training course. This takes us back to the key aspects of what it means to be a follower of Jesus in day to day life. Dates include June 17 & 24 and then July 15 & 22. Time – 7:30pm.

Ordination Service:  The Presbytery of Melbourne North will license and ordain Nathan Runham Friday, June 29 at 7:30pm. We will host the service here at EPC and provide supper for the event. Martin de Pyle will be the special preacher for the event.

Church directory: It’s time to produce a new church directory. Melody will be emailing everyone individually to seek your permission to print your details, and to ask you to either confirm that she has the correct information or supply her with any additional or alternative information. Some new photos will need to be taken, especially of families with young children.

Evergreens: This week our speaker will talk about “Colours as revealed in Vexillology “. Come along at 1:30 pm on Wednesday June 20 to find out all about this intriguing subject. As always, afternoon tea will follow.

LIFT: The next LIFT event will be a Soup and Movie Night on Friday June 22 , at 7pm in the hall. The movie, “ The Case for Christ ” is a good event to invite friends to. Invitations are now available, so please take some to pass on. Please RSVP to Marie Van Ravesteyn .

Congratulations: John Wakefield was recently honoured with an Order of Australia Medal for his services to people with disability.
