Final DDT: The session has decided it is best to postpone the final DDT for 2017, Caring that Connects, so that it can be better linked in with the electing of new members to the Pastoral Care Team. In the past adding to the team was done by Session appointment but we have decided to move to an election system involving the whole congregation. People chosen by the congregation will then do the Caring that Connects training early next year before taking up their ministry role. More details will follow soon.

General Assembly: The PCV General Assembly is on October 9 th to 12 th . Don, Andy and Ian Courts will be representing EPC. The Safe Church Unit and the Church Planting Committee have special presentations on Monday to which everyone is welcome. There is also an open invitation to the official start, a worship service at Scots at 7:30pm in the evening. You are also welcome to each day of this event except for some occasions when the Assembly sits in Private to deal with sensitive matters.

Bible for the Persecuted: Every October we focus on praying for persecuted Christians around the world. The Bible League are waiting for the prayer diaries to arrive before they can be sent out to us. Hopefully, we will have them within the next 10 days or so.

Morning Tea: Because of some shuffling on the roster, we need two people to help with morning tea on Sunday October 29. Please see Melody if you are able to help. Many thanks.

Evergreens: We will meet again at 1:30 pm on Wednesday October 4 for a Bible Study and time of fellowship over afternoon tea. All welcome.
