Welcoming DDT:

The fourth workshop in the series is set for Sept 10. There is a possible clash with the mainly music Father’s Day BBQ so we may have to change the time we meet for this last session. Stay tuned.

Next DDT:

Forgiving – Sept 17 & 24, 7:00–8:00pm. Scripture says we are to forgive as the Father has forgiven us, yet when deep emotions are involved it is one of the hardest things for us to do. This workshop will focus on a set of steps called Forgiving Others. We will ‘road test’ these steps using the story of Joseph. You will also get to take home a similar set of steps called Seeking Forgiveness. Individual follow-up will be available if you want to work on some personal issues of forgiveness as a result of this workshop.

Kingdom Prayer Night:

Term 3 Kingdom Prayer Night for the whole church will be September 11 . This is an opportunity for us to gather together and seek His presence and blessing for all we do in His name – as Moses said to the Lord, “If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.”

Open Table:

Open Table is on again tonight (27th August) at 5:30pm in the hall.

Wednesday Growth Group :

The Wednesday group will meet at the Herweynen’s for the remainder of this term.

Safe Church Training Dates: Two dates are now available for those who need to attend this basic training. Samaritans Purse Operation Christmas Child: Thank you to everyone who has packed a box for Samaritans Purse appeal. A further 3 boxes and $20 in postage has been delivered to the warehouse in Mitcham. There are boxes and pamphlets still available in the foyer. Boxes can be delivered to 8 -12 Simla Street Mitcham. The warehouse is at the rear of the Mitcham Baptist Church. Opening hours  are Monday and Friday 9am to 1pm . Wednesday 9am to 3.30pm.
