Annual Reports: This year’s ACM has been set for April 23 . All reports need to be presented to the Session before they are printed and distributed so we recommend that all ministry reports be ready to table at the Session meeting to be held March 14 . These reports are an important way of informing the wider congregation of what happened at EPC in 2016.
Next Week: The final chapter of JOB will be our text for next Sunday. It has been a long journey but we trust that the Word of God has spoken to you and strengthened you with Deeper Wisdom For Life in a Fractured World.
Open Table dinners: We have settled on the name Open Table for these events. Thank you to all who came up with suggestions. Our first event is in two weeks, Feb 26! Thank you to Taimi for heading up the cooking team and thank you to others who have volunteered to be part of the team. To help with catering it would be great if you could use the Connect Form in the newsletter to indicate if you are coming and how many friends you might be bringing.
Activate Missions Conference: Activate seeks to partner with the Victorian church by inspiring, challenging and mobilising young adults toward missions involvement, particularly among the least-reached peoples of the world.

Evening Growth Groups: We start back again this week. If you have not been part of one of our Bible study Growth Groups and would like to be please talk to Don. Growth groups are an important way to deepen our everyday spiritual growth and our connections with each other.
Evergreens: Evergreens resumes this Wednesday 15 th February at 1:30 pm in the hall. Our speaker this month is Dr. Susy Matthews who will tell us her story. Afterwards enjoy afternoon tea and a time of fellowship together. If you are aged over 55 years, please come along.
LIFT (Ladies in Fellowship Together): After at least five years of being the convenor for LIFT, Andrea Henderson is stepping down. Thank you Andrea for all of your work over this time. We are now looking for other people to help organise activities for the ladies of our church. It would be good to have a number of people to join a sub committee, thus reducing the load. Please speak to Andrea, Don or Andy if you’d like more information.
