Newcomers BBQ : On Sunday, Sept 4 at 5pm, the leadership team are planning to have an early evening BBQ meal for people who are new or newish to our church. This will be a good way for us to socialise and get to know each other better. If you are able to come please talk to Don or Andy so we have an idea of numbers.

PREPARE/ENRICH : To help promote and strengthen marriages we will be offering to run a ‘marriage enrichment’ workshop based on a well
researched course. Don, Andy and Josh are all trained to run this course. The idea is that couples will have to sign up well in advance and do an on-line assessment (cost $42). Then we will run two Friday evening group sessions to explain what the assessments mean. There will also be the option of some one-on-one work afterwards if you would like that. DDT : The Leadership 201 – Eldership Basics workshop will resume tonight and continue next Sunday, 28th August at 7:30pm. We will continue to focus on the Westminster Confession of Faith as it is central to our understanding of truth as taught in the Scriptures. Please read WCF chapters 6-14 in preparation. Spiritual leaders are called to know, promote and defend the truth. DVD Player: If someone has an unused DVD player and would be happy to donate it or use in the portable please talk to Don or Anne.

Missions Breakfast: come along at 8:30 am on Saturday 17th September for this year’s Missions Breakfast and hear Marg Docking talk about the work she is doing with “Wise Choices For Life”. Invitation cards are now available, as well as a sign up sheet. For enquiries, please see Melody or Sheila.
