As Pastor Don is away for the next 2 weeks, Al Green will be our guest speaker next week on the 29th of October, and then Rev Keith Bell, will visit us on November 5.

Working Bee

The Board of Management has planned for a Working Bee for Saturday 21st October. A list of jobs to be done and tools required will be displayed so that you can decide how best you can participate. There are many jobs to be done to tidy up the grounds and improve the look of our property in general. 

If you know you won’t be able to be there on that day, there are several jobs that could be done prior. Please write your name on the sheet provided or contact Andrea or email administration@elthampc.org.au to discuss how you might be able to help. 

Morning tea will be provided.

Samaritans Purse: Christmas Shoe Boxes

There is just one more week to prepare your shoeboxes.

You will see on Sunday, that some people have already dropped off their boxes as they were going to be away. Others will probably bring some on Sunday, so the table will be in progress of being filled.

Please remember they must be brought to church by Sunday 29 October ready for delivery to the drop off centre by 4 November. If you have any difficulties getting them to church by then please speak to Sheila or email administration@elthampc.org.au

A very big thank you to everyone, for your participation in this event and to those who gave donations to cover the transport of extra boxes. Also, a big thank you to the craft group who made all the colourful bags and extra items. Sheila has been able to fill approximately 18 boxes from donated items and their transport is also covered by donations.

Please remember to pray for the children who will receive these gifts, that God will touch their lives and that many will participate in ‘The Greatest Journey’ discipleship programme.

1. Young Adults
Young Adults from 6:15pm for dinner then finished by 8:00pm.

2. Monday Night Growth Group

Tuesday

1. Hymns Singing Group
Hymn Singing will next take place on Tuesday, 24th October. Everyone is welcome to join us on that day at 2pm in the church hall, for an informal time of singing of hymns and other Christian songs, followed by afternoon tea.

1. Women's Friday Morning Bible Study Group
Women's Friday Morning Bible Study is on this coming Friday 27th October. Arrive at 9:45 AM for a 10:00 AM start.
