Next week we return to our Organic Disciples Series: Seven Ways to a Deeper Walk With Jesus. It is a thematic series based on the book we studied in 2023. First up will be, Walking in Generosity.
Creche Helpers Needed
EPC is in need of more volunteers to serve on the creche roster. In order to serve on creche volunteers must be Safe Church approved to work in ministry to children.
If you are unsure if you are Safe Church approved to provide ministry to children, or you would like to apply to be Safe Church approved, please speak to Holly Bligh, who is the Safe Church rep for EPC.
If you know you are Safe Church approved and are interested in serving on the creche roster please speak to Helen or email administration@elthampc.org.au
EPC Community BBQ
Please note Feb 24 in your diaries if you haven’t already. On that day we'll be holding a community barbecue with a guest speaker.
The speaker: Associate Professor Robert Ross has a PhD in Robotics, is the Director of the RAMPS Laboratory and has lectured engineering for the last 15 years. Robert is a prolific inventor and will be talking about 3D printing, a bunch of robots he has invented and how we see design in the world around us.
This is a nice, relaxed event to invite non-churched friends to so they can experience something of our community, enjoy a meal and an interesting talk.
Men's Events Team
It has been a while since we have run specific Men's Events, but we are aiming to start with Old Cars, Food & Live Music (April 20) followed by Journeys late June (a testimony night).
If you would like to join this team, please talk to Don or Rob. Our goal is to run up to 4 different types of events each year which will aid us in our personal Organic Outreach with our friends and neighbours as we pray that God will use us in helping others find meaning and purpose in life through a faith in Jesus.
