YOUTH GROUP
Friday 13th March is a VCYC (Victorian Christian Youth Convention) one-night event at Holy Trinity Church, Doncaster (106 Church Rd). Dinner at 7:00 pm for a barbeque (gold coin) then kicks off 7:30-9:30pm. We plan to meet the Bundy youth there, please let Andy know if you need a ride.
GARDENING TEAM

Next Saturday we will be doing some work at the Hegan’s, starting at 9:30am. Morning tea will be provided. Andrea will be in touch by email.
WORKING BEE – March 21
The Board of Management has set the date for our first Working Bee
for the year. Please put this date in your diary NOW, and plan to be here to ensure our property continues to look good.
PRISON FELLOWSHIP BISCUIT BAKE
Missions Support Group encourage the Church to make biscuits which will be delivered to every prisoner in Victoria. This promotes the Gospel through a practical expression of God’s love. Biscuit day will be Sunday 22nd March
. The Group will deliver all biscuits made to PF the following week. Contact Jenni Ambridge.
MEN’S EVENT
Our first event for 2020 will be a Blokes’ Night on March 28
, 6:30–8:30pm. It will be an informal night of food, old cars and live music, with Spanish paella for the main course. This is a great event to invite non-churched friends to and introduce them to other EPC men. Cost is $25 and we would love you to sign up at www.trybooking.com/BITLV
CRAFT GROUP
The Craft Group would like to thank all those who bought their handmade Christmas Cards last year. Proceeds of $170 were donated to Tear Australia for their support of community Health, Maternal and Child Health and providing Safe Water to the communities.
GOOD FRIDAY
We will join with Vine Baptist Church and Southern Cross Baptist Church for a combined service at 9:30am on Good Friday in the Eltham town square as in the previous two years. Pray that we get council approval for the event as well as for putting up the cross in the town square. Think about who you can invite to this event. Resurrection Sunday here at EPC will be another ‘invite’ opportunity as we will focus on the historical truth of the resurrection.
PLENTY VALLEY CHRISTIAN COLLEGE
Open Morning on March 14 from 10am to 12pm. Tours of the college will be available.
BELGRAVE HEIGHTS MEN’S CONVENTION
This year’s convention is May 22 & 23 with the theme Unstoppable Hope
. Al Stewart and Pete Sorrenson are our main Bible teachers with Martin Iles from ACL as the special guest on Friday night. Brochures are now available on the table. The convention is our 2nd major Men’s Event for EPC.
