This series in the lead up to Christmas continues this Sunday. We’ll be looking at Luke’s Gospel in chapters 1-2.

SUNDAY DECEMBER 15
Sunday School breakup and graduation special event during the service and normal Sunday School time.

PASTORAL PRAYER
If you have personal prayer needs for yourself or those close to you, an elder and a Pastoral Care person will be at the front of the church by the stage to pray with you after the service has finished. This new way of praying for your needs will be more personal, and private if required. We will keep praying for urgent and important pastoral needs of the congregation during the service but the main way to get them included is by emailing them beforehand to  prayer@elthampc.com.au.  There will no longer be someone in the foyer collecting prayer points before the service.

ROSTER VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
There are several vacancies on the current roster – including morning tea for next Sunday ! A printed copy of the roster is on the foyer table. Please take a look and consider filling one of the vacancies if you are able. See Melody after church if you can fill in, or if you need more information before saying yes.

ORGANIC OUTREACH BOOKSTALL
When: Sunday December 15, during morning tea
There will be another bookstall with a selection of books on what Organic Outreach is and how we use it in our personal lives. This time we will have a number of copies of Organic Outreach for Families . Buy one as a Christmas gift for the whole family! People on the Organic Outreach Team will need both Organic Outreach For Ordinary People and Organic Outreach For Churches. These books are available as eBooks as well. FENCE PAINTING
Don is looking to gather a small team of people to work on the front fence of 1144 Main Road. After a little more paint removal it would be great to get on a coat of primer before Christmas.

MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES 2020
  If you haven’t picked up the handout on ministry opportunities for 2020 please collect it from the foyer. We would love for you to start thinking about how you might serve in the life and ministry of the church next year and it helps us get better prepared for when we start up everything again in the new year after the December-January break. Place the response form in the box on the small table. This is especially true for lining up Sunday School Teachers.

MEMORY VERSE CHALLENGE

CHRISTMAS DAY SERVICE
Special time of 9:30am.  

CRAFT GROUP
Craft group have a table set up in the hall with Christmas cards for sale. All proceeds go to mission work. Enquiries, see Maggie.
