Iran Month

Today we conclude our special focus on persecuted Christians in Iran and for the spread of the Gospel among the Iranian people at home and abroad. Two books are available from Elam ministries to help us pray meaningfully for them:  Iran and Beyond  (a general introduction to what God is doing there),  Iran 30  (a 30 day prayer diary). Please pick up a copy for yourself from the foyer.

Farewell Truman & Rachael de Pyle

We’ll be saying goodbye & praying for them during the service today as they look to move house shortly.

Next preaching series

Next Sunday Don Elliott will begin a short series on the fourth commandment.

City Lunch

All welcome. Meeting at Collins Place, 45 Collins Street  on Tuesday 25th June, 12:30pm  at the food court on the lowest level.

Family Service

Next Sunday, will be a family service, when several Sunday School children will be involved in parts of the service. Worksheets will be available for the children as well. Creche will still operate as usual.

Manse Heating

Due to a generous donation the manse heating problem has been solved with small reverse cycle AC units for the three bedrooms in the lower part of the house. The Board of Management is very grateful for the gift and the Elliotts even more so! It is an important upgrade for the manse. Thank you as well to a few other people who were also willing to make contributions.

Young Adults – New Time & Venue

Starting July 18th , meeting at Andy & Taimi’s place in Eltham on Thursday evenings.

PYV North Camp 2019  (Presbyterian Youth Victoria)

Bookings open 1st July for this camp for youth aged 12 up to year 12.

Men’s Breakfast

Please put July 20 in your diaries! Pastor Geoff Shepherd will be our guest speaker for the event. Geoff is a former policeman whom God called to become a pastor and this made the Melbourne news! Along with his ministry at Mill Park Baptist he is also the chaplain for the Richmond Football Club. Geoff is passionate and enthusiastic about all he does and has a great story to tell.

Youth Group

Next Friday (June 28) let’s “wrap it up”. 7:30 – 9:30pm. Come along for music, testimonies, prayer and food. Please see Andy if you need a lift.
