Pastoral Care DDT: 

This will continue on  April 22, at 7:30pm. with the last session next Sunday , April 29.

 

Open Table:

On the menu for the next Open Table is Baked Spuds with an array of fillings. Come along to have a feast and connect with friends old and new.  Sunday May 6, 5.30 in the hall. Adults $6 & children over 3 $4. Invite a friend and RSVP by Tuesday May 1, to  opentable@elthampc.com.au  or 0403 773 805, or the CONNECT form at church.

 

Servanthood Roster:

It’s that time again, when Melody needs you to think about how you might be able to help with the various tasks that help things to function smoothly on Sundays. If you’ve not been on the roster before, but would like to do something during this coming quarter, please talk to Melody about what is involved. Dates for availability need to be sent to Melody by May 1.

 

Open Morning:

Plenty Valley Christian College is holding an Open Morning on Tuesday May 8 from 9 am to 10:30 am. For enquiries, please call the college.

Colin Buchanan: 

Valley Presbyterian Church & Plenty Valley Christian College are hosting a Colin Buchanan concert on Sunday June 17 at 3:30pm. It will pay to book early if you want to go. Flyers are on the tables in the foyer with the information you need.


Entrust Women’s Conference:

This will be our next LIFT event. It is to be held at the Belgrave Heights Convention Centre from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday May 12. The theme this year is: “ Peace by Piece ”, based on Philippians 4. Please go to entrustwomen.com.au for more details and for registration. There is a sign up sheet in the foyer to indicate if you’d like a lift, or are willing to give others a lift to the event.


Men’s Convention:

The 20th Men’s Convention is on May 25-25. Main speakers are Murray Capill from the Reformed Theological College and Carl Beech from Christian Vision for Men. Former Deputy Prime Minister of Australia, John Anderson, will be the keynote speaker Friday evening. This event is a key event for EPC men. There are options to attend just parts of the event if you can’t attend it all. Sign up online. Ride sharing will be talked about later. The theme this year is “Give me STRENGTH”.
For the Love of God:

The Centre For Public Christianity has produced a documentary on the contribution of the church to our world. The subtitle is: How the church is better and worse than you ever imagined. There will be a screening at Village Doncaster, Wednesday evening, June 20. They will only precede with this event if they sell a minimum of 87 tickets. It would be great if a number of us could go along as an EPC outing. Go to  betterandworse.film for more information.
