17th July 2016
DDT:
Our next Deeper Discipleship Training workshop will be Personal Devotions, starting 17th July 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm and continuing next week. We will talk about the challenges and joys of regular devotions and the value of finding a method that works best for you.
Men’s Events :
“Our Journeys of Faith & Life” testimony night will be August 27. It is a night when three men get to share their stories with us. The Men’s Breakfast will be November 5 at the Eltham Gateway Conference Centre. Please put these dates in your diary.
Website:
Josh, Andy, and Matt Napper have been working hard on a revised website for EPC. Our website is like our front door to the wider community and the revision gives us a fresh new look. It is also being designed to give us more flexibility of how we can add to it.
EP Youth:
EP Youth is meeting this afternoon at 4pm in the church hall. We are kicking off term 3 with tacos. The term theme will be ‘Meme Culture’ working through the book of Philippians and using internet memes to reveal the clash between the cross and culture.
LIFT Progressive Dinner :
Saturday 30th July. Meet at Church at 6pm where we’ll split into car pool groups. Marie, Taimi and Anne are our hosts for a delectable winter feast. Please indicate your attendance using the RSVP sign-up sheet in the foyer. This is necessary for catering purposes. Use this to indicate any dietary requirements and you’re willingness to drive for the carpooling.
Evergreens :
This week we will have a devotion with Andy. Come along at 1:30 pm Wednesday 20th July to find out more. Afterwards we will share afternoon tea and a time of fellowship.
