Deeper Discipleship Training  Next Sunday (15th) we’re back into this series, 7:30pm in the hall. Please pray for those attending this as we discover more of what it means to follow the Lord Jesus in our lives.

Book Reviews  There are a few of these one page reviews/summaries available in the foyer, or you can visit the EPC website (under the Resources section).

EP Youth Term 3  In Term 3 we will join with the Bundoora PC Youth Group on  Friday nights.   This is because we’d like to see our youth encouraged, connected, and established in their faith with a well organised program with greater numbers. Eventually we would like to re-launch an EPC group on Friday nights when we are ready, but for now we are planning to car-pool or meet at Bundoora and join in their weekly events and Bible studies.

Stepping Up Youth (Yrs 7+ this term)  From next Sunday we start on a term program called ‘Listen Up’ where we’ll be studying sermons according to Scripture, and look at why and how to listen to God’s word. Any of the youth are invited along to this – please talk to Taimi, Fiona, or Andy if you are interested.

Sunday School  Our regular Sunday School program is in recess for school holidays, and will return next Sunday (15th July). An activity pack will be made available during the service today.

Prison Ministry in Malawi  John and Sue Steendam are heading to Malawi again in August. Please keep them in your prayers as they make preparations for this and seek funding. You can support this ministry of mercy financially; either via a box in the foyer, or with an electronic funds transfer to the church’s Westpac account.

Servanthood Roster:  The next Servanthood roster will cover the months of August and September. Please let Melody know if you are available to go on the roster, and in what capacity. It’s also important for Melody to know which dates won’t suit you. Please have your preferences to Melody at melody.telley@gmail.com   by next Friday, July 13.

Signing the Call: Willem Roodenburg and Robert Cameron are in charge of gathering signatures for the Call to have Andy Buchan as our Associate Pastor. Please contact one of them if you are planning to sign the Call but haven’t had a chance to just yet.

Fairchilds:  Lori and Bob Fairchild from Nebraska are making their third trip back to Eltham and will once again join us at EPC for the better part of a year. They arrive in August and are looking to rent in Eltham. As they have no furniture they would love any help we can in finding or providing some of the basics for them. A kitchen table and chairs have already been donated. Please talk to Don or Anne if you can assist with this request.

Beach Mission Fundraiser:  Truman de Pyle is involved in leading the Theos Beach Mission team down at Wilson’s Prom for 2 weeks each year in January. During this time the team aim to share the good news of Jesus to campers at the Prom in both word and deed. They’re hosting a much needed pot luck dinner fundraiser on Saturday 14th of July. Tickets are $20 (or $15 if you buy before July 1st). For more info about the fundraiser or how you can support the team please see Truman or Rachael. Tickets can be purchased at  https://tidalrivertheos.ticketleap.com/fundraiser/

Gospel Partners:  Gospel Partners’ Magazines are available for borrowing. See the display stand in foyer.

Oxfam Book Fair:  Jenni Ambridge is collecting books for the Oxfam Book Fair to be held in Eltham in October. Please contact Jenni if you have books you’d like to donate.

Growth Groups:  All groups are in recess during the school holidays. They will recommence during the week commencing July 16. Young adults will continue to meet each Monday evening at 7:30pm.
